Harvest Gold Potatoes
Harvest Gold contains vegetables and fruits within the yellow and orange colour spectrum. This group of produce is highlighted with a healthy source of beta carotene, flavonoids and vitamin C, along with other phytochemicals. This group also offers a good source of fibre. Calcium, potassium and folate are other nutrients found in the Harvest Gold collection of produce. Excite your kitchen with at least two Harvest Gold items daily.
Harvest Red Potatoes
Harvest Red contains vegetables and fruits with scarlet to crimson hues. The Harvest Red collection of colour is highlighted with a wide array of phytochemicals, led by lycopene and anthocyanins. Fibre and potassium, along with a variety of other nutrients are also included in this colour group. Paint your kitchen with at least two Harvest red items daily.
Harvest White Potatoes
Harvest White/Brown vegetables and fruits may not have energetic colour but contain a nutritional Gold mine with such phytochemicals as allyl sulfides and polyphenals. The sulphur compounds found in onions and garlic are extremely important. Also vitamin C is found in fair amounts in this section of the Harvest Collection. It has been said that the kitchen is the heart of the home, and many great chefs believe that the onion is the heart of the kitchen. Be sure to include two servings from the Harvest White/brown group daily.
